I am not an atheist, but come on, kiddo. Grow up a little and don't use your book to tell other people how they should think. Especially when it's not their book. *pats* Listen to this song. It is sensible. And awesome. And even I can tell it's sarcastic, which is a feat because most people are aware I am not good at reading sarcasm...

Today, Jayann and I went to Orana Park which was AWESOME. We bought special tickets to be able to see the lions up close and HOLY GHOST you should see this crap. They were all around us while we were in this cage thing and they growled and roared and fought over food and jumped up on the cage above us and AAAUUGGGH it was amazing.

These are not zoomed in. Even a little.

I just recorded myself singing O Holy Night for the heck of it. I did it twice. One was pitch perfect and lovely and everything I wanted. The second one I did, Ariadne came meowing and tugged on my skirt, hoping I would help her catch moths (yes we do this, my life is so full) and I crack up in the middle of the song and then sing the rest terribly off-key because I'm laughing. My camera isn't great for operatic voices either, but...you know, cest la vie!

The one that all went wrong is SO the one I am uploading. I think it is more me. I AM sorry for the potentially busted speakers. Don't listen to the end too loud. My voice is kind of high-pitched and laughing and singing don't mix.

By the way, the reason I filmed the bookcases when I was singing, is because I look like I am in terrible pain when I sing. Just be glad I saved you.

ALSO I took a photo of my re-dyed hair, since the recordings are all yellow. Of course the colour still looks strange because I'm a pale (smarmy) ghost. Whatever, it's red. No regrowth any more finally.

Watched Tim Minchin's Enough Rope interview on Youtube. It's in 3 parts (the first part is here if you are interested and the other parts you can get to on the side menu) and he is adorbs when he talks about his wife. "Sarah's nice, I like her". His views on religion are much like my brother's too. They do seem really alike in their wit, which makes me adore Tim all the more.

ANYWAY then I had banana cake that Laura made. And then this happened because Laura and Leah are watching The Fifth Element.

Me: "GARY OLDMANNNN! It's okay he's annoying in this movie."
Laura: "He's in this movie? Who is he?"
Me: "The bad guy."
Laura: "...I thought Gary Oldman was short. And black."
Leah: "...that's Gary Colman"

Cue me nearly choking on my cake.

If you knew what my day included, you would understand why this is necessary.

(I just realised this makes it sound like my day was hard. It wasn't. It was hilarious and awesome and writeymcwriteygood. With a little bit of Archangel in the mix. Oh Michael, why so srs?)
