My mom was the one who told me that President Obama won the peace prize. I was like "WHAAAAAT?! I NEED TO CHECK THE NEWS!"

I think it's awesome and hope that he can live up to it.

Reaaallllyyyy random and I don't know how I feel about it yet. I mean, I think it's awesome but uhm...I do sort of agree with the statement that he's being given the prize for trying to reduce nuclear warheads and yet the US has more than any other place? Hmmm. I hope he lives up to it too. I believe he can, however, and that's what makes me smile.

Even I'm a little iffy about the whole thing. Yeah, great to encourage the ideas, but, really? I'm thinking it's a little premature. Hopefully the ideas will come to fruition and substantial progress can actually be made.
